Services / AI Voice Agents

The calls you are not there to answer.

Elements AI builds AI voice agents for small businesses across the Denver metro, from our studio in Castle Rock, Colorado. The agent answers the calls that currently go to voicemail, works out what the caller needs, captures the details, and escalates anything that cannot wait until morning. Every build is scoped to one business rather than sold as a package. Founder VK Kapoor is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Most people who reach voicemail do not leave one. They call the next name on the list. That is the gap this closes.

What you get

Built around your calls, not a template.

A voice agent is only as good as the conversation it was set up to have. A plumber taking emergency calls at 11pm needs something different from an agent booking property viewings, and both need something different from an office line that just takes messages cleanly. So the first thing we do is work out what your calls actually sound like, which ones matter, and what should happen to each.

From there it is a build: the script, the escalation rules, the number and routing, the voice, and a round of testing against scenarios from your business rather than a demo. You keep the number and the accounts. If you want us watching it every month we can, and if you would rather run it yourself, it is yours to run.

If you are still working out whether this is worth doing at all, we wrote a plain-English look at whether your business should use one, including the cases where the answer is no.

What's included
  • Call-flow scoping session before anything is built
  • Agent script and escalation rules written for your business
  • Phone number provisioning and call routing
  • Voice selection, then testing against your real scenarios
  • A clear handover: the accounts and the number stay yours
  • Optional monthly monitoring and tuning
Why this is harder than it looks

The demo is easy. The 2am call is not.

Standing up an agent that handles a clean, expected call takes very little time now, and that is what most demos show you. It is not the part that decides whether this works. What decides it is the call that arrives sideways: the caller who talks over the agent, the one who is already angry, the one describing a burst pipe who needs a human in the next ten minutes and does not care what technology is on the other end.

Those paths have to be designed deliberately, and they are specific to your business. Getting them wrong is worse than not having an agent at all, because an unanswered phone tells a customer to try someone else, while a badly handled one tells them you already had your chance. That asymmetry is the whole reason we scope these individually instead of selling a fixed package.

It also means we will sometimes tell you not to do it. If your call volume is low enough that a person can genuinely get to all of them, or your calls are too varied to define, we will say so on the first call rather than build you something you do not need.

How it works

Scoped first, built second.

1

Free 30-minute call

We go through the calls you are missing, what happens to them now, and which ones would actually be worth catching. You get an honest answer on whether this fits, including if it does not.

2

Call-flow scope and fixed quote

We map the conversations the agent will handle and the ones it will hand off, then quote a fixed price for that defined scope in writing. No hourly meter.

3

Build, then test on your scenarios

VK builds it and runs it against real situations from your business, failure paths included, before it answers a single customer. You hear the actual calls, not a slide deck.

4

Go live and hand over the keys

We switch it on with you watching, start it on a narrow slice of hours rather than everything at once, and hand you the accounts and the number. Ongoing monitoring is optional, not a lock-in.

Who this is for

Businesses losing calls outside office hours.

This fits best where a missed call is a lost job and the caller has an obvious next number to try: contractors and trades taking after-hours and emergency calls, real-estate teams fielding inquiries at evenings and weekends, and service businesses where one person is covering the phone alongside the actual work.

We build for Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, and Littleton.

Dental and medical practices are the exception for now. After-hours intake for a practice means handling patient health information, and we are not offering it until the compliance chain behind it is properly in place. The last question below has the full answer.

Common questions

AI voice agents, answered.

What does an AI voice agent actually do? +

It answers the calls you are not there to take. Someone rings after hours, the agent picks up in a natural-sounding voice, works out what they need, captures their name, number and the reason for the call, and passes it to you in a form you can act on in the morning. For urgent calls it can be set up to escalate straight to whoever is on call. It is not trying to be a receptionist for every call you get. It is there for the ones that currently go to voicemail, where the caller hangs up and rings the next name on the list.

Will callers know they are not talking to a person? +

Some will and some will not, and we build on the assumption that they should be able to tell if they ask. The voices are good enough now that the pause between a caller finishing a sentence and the agent replying is short enough to feel like a conversation rather than a menu. We would rather the agent say plainly that it is an assistant taking details for the team than have a customer feel misled once they work it out. That is a setting, and we will talk through where you want it.

What happens when it cannot handle the call? +

That case gets designed first, not last. Every build has a defined path for the calls the agent should not be handling: a genuine emergency, an angry customer, anything outside what it was set up for. Depending on your setup that means transferring to a real number, escalating by text to whoever is on call, or taking a message and flagging it as urgent. An agent with no escape hatch is worse than voicemail, because voicemail at least never pretends it has the situation handled.

How much does an AI voice agent cost? +

It depends on your call volume, how many scenarios the agent has to handle, and what it needs to connect to on your side. A single after-hours line that takes messages is a different build from one that checks a live calendar and books slots. Elements AI shares real pricing on a free 30-minute call rather than publishing it, and you get a fixed quote for a defined scope before any work starts. There is also an ongoing platform cost for the voice service itself, which we are straight with you about on that call.

Can you build one for a dental or medical practice? +

Not yet, and we would rather say so than take the work. An after-hours intake agent for a practice is capturing patient health information, which puts the whole call path under HIPAA: the voice provider, the telephony layer, and anything that stores a recording or a transcript. That needs a signed business associate agreement at every step, and we are not going to claim that chain is in place before it is. We are working through it. If you run a practice and you want the honest answer on where that stands, ask on the call.
